TAMEKO and Norm Architects present their first collaboration: //Collection 002. A considered series of cushions, bed throws, and kimonos that reflects a shared dedication to tactility, natural materials, and quiet refinement.
The origins of the collection trace back to the Ground rug series designed by Norm Architects for massimo copenhagen, the sister company founded by the same team behind TAMEKO. What began as a material dialogue between rugs and interiors has now evolved into a complete textile universe, crafted to shape atmosphere and support elevated living across both hospitality and private spaces.

“For us, textiles have always been about far more than surface. They shape how a space feels, how we inhabit it, and how we unwind within it. With this collection, we wanted to create pieces that support a sense of calm – from the everyday rituals at home to the atmospheres we help build in hospitality. Working with Norm Architects allowed us to translate that ambition into a textile universe defined by quiet confidence and material honesty.”
// A DESIGN LANGUAGE OF SOFT MINIMALISM
Collection 002 is anchored in a muted, earthy palette—tones that harmonize naturally with the Ground rug series and echo Norm Architects’ signature approach to warm minimalism. The colours have been developed to feel soft, atmospheric, and deeply rooted in nature, with each shade contributing its own quiet character to the collection.
The palette includes Haze, a cool grey-beige that brings airy softness; Hearth, a warm, grounded neutral inspired by clay and sun-warmed stone; Fawn, a gentle earthy tone that evokes natural fibers and subtle warmth; Mist, a light, calming grey with a diffused, ethereal presence; and Dusk, a deeper tone that adds visual depth and shadow.
The Drift series is designed to layer effortlessly, allowing tones to interact and build calm visual compositions. Placed on a bed, sofa, or lounge setting, the cushions and throws bring a sense of serenity, warmth, and timeless Scandinavian refinement.

The design language is subtle yet expressive, focusing on surfaces that invite touch, quiet detailing that reveals itself slowly, and a sense of serene composure that supports elevated living. Through its carefully balanced textures and thoughtful construction, the collection offers a layered sensory experience.
Collection 002 introduces a kimono crafted from 100% organic cotton seersucker, chosen for its breathable structure, gently puckered surface, and effortless drape. The design is rooted in a desire to create a garment that feels both luxurious and unpretentious—a piece to be worn in moments of rest, transition, and quiet ritual.
The seersucker’s natural texture lifts the fabric away from the body, enhancing airflow and comfort while adding a subtle visual softness. Its lightweight feel makes it ideal for warm climates and hospitality environments, yet substantial enough for year-round use at home.
Finished with refined stitching, an understated belt, and a relaxed silhouette designed to flatter different body types, the kimono balances practicality with serene beauty. Whether placed in a spa, boutique hotel, or private residence, it is intended to elevate everyday routines with tactile comfort and thoughtful simplicity.

Each piece is crafted from natural fibers chosen for their comfort, integrity, and longevity.
Cotton, used both in blended textiles and exclusively in the 100% organic cotton seersucker kimono, is sourced from India—a region with a long-standing heritage in cotton cultivation and spinning. The fibers are appreciated for their softness, breathability, and resilience, cultivated using certified organic practices that support healthier ecosystems and more responsible production.
Linen, made from European flax, brings structure, tensile strength, and a naturally relaxed texture. Its breathability and moisture-wicking qualities have made it a valued material for generations, lending both durability and elegance to the pieces.
By combining linen and cotton, TAMEKO achieves a harmony of structure and softness. Linen introduces a subtle, natural crinkle and tactile depth, while cotton provides smoothness and comfort. The result is a textile expression that feels grounded yet refined—crafted to endure both daily rituals and the demands of hospitality environments.
