Ren is made from 100% baby alpaca, one of the finer grades of the fibre, with a soft, silky handle and very little weight. The warmth comes from the material itself, so the blanket never feels heavy.

At 130 x 180 cm it is generous enough for a sofa, the foot of a bed or around the shoulders. The grey melange is left plain, and a classic fringed edge adds the only texture.

Ren is TAMEKO's first piece made in Peru, a country where alpaca breeding and textile making go back centuries. One considered piece rather than a collection.
